Climate Change Climate change is a proven fact. Global warming has caused serious changes to the planet, such as rising sea levels, extreme weather events, deforestation, disappearance of species. But as individuals we can slow down global warming by implementing small more sustainable actions within our community 1. Let us adapt to our ancestor's practices in living a simple life with less emission. 2. Do not trouble the forest or the trees in the avenues and plant more useful trees on your land 3. Be very prudent in using energy, home electricity, petrol and diesel for your vehicles 4. Young people have the most at stake when it comes to climate change. Teach your children to be friendly to the environment 5. Learn water conservation practices from TIST Trainers during training. Climate-smart agriculture, water conservation and soil enrichment are very important towards global warming mitigation.
