There is NO evidence that regularly rinsing the nose with saline has protected people from infection with the coronavirus. 4. The coronavirus CAN be transmitted in areas with hot and humid climates. 5. Garlic is healthy but there is NO evidence from the current outbreak that eating garlic has protected people from the coronavirus. 6. The coronavirus CANNOT be transmitted through mosquito bites. 7. Tiruvallur District We the members of ASR Small Group from Thiruthani Center of Tiruvlalur District following the best practices at Kirushnasamuthiram Village. Last three years we are with TIST India and we have planted tree species like redsanders, vengai, teak and mango. Also, we are giving good care to the trees by the learnings from TIST Node Meetings and Training Programs. We practiced groundnut as intercrop in between our trees. From the learning through training programs we practiced rice cultivation in other open land and got good income. We also received Rs.3,276 from TIST as tree incentive for our trees. We are informing other farmers about this good program and our thanks to TIST India.

Do good to your village. All small groups of a village join together and plant one banyan tree for your village. There is an old wise saying that, “banyan trees attract rain clouds – rain clouds cannot pass away the banyan trees without showering”.

Tiruvannamalai District We the members of SPK Small Group from Thurinjapuram Center of Tiruvannamalai District following the best practices at Vilvarani Village. In 2012 we received 3,500 free tree seedlings from TIST India. We practiced groundnut in between the trees and in our other open land we have cultivated rice and sugarcane. Also, by participating in TIST Node and Training programs we get good information and caring our trees in good way. We are following the natural farming in practicing food crop cultivation. We have planned to practice integrated farming through our small group in the future. We request other small groups to know the benefits of natural farming system and practice like us to get good yield. We convey our sincere thanks to TIST India.
