Verification Dear Small 

Group Members, we are very happy to let you all know that we are doing our project verification for the monitoring period 30 December 2017 – 15 March 2021. You all know that TIST Program is for the farmers and is run by the farmers and that TIST Program addresses the needs of Climate, Community and Biodiversity, which are critical issues throughout the world. Due to lock down we would be not be having field visit, but we would have virtual visit and virtual meetings / interviews.

TIST, converting unused farmland to agroforest to address the needs of climate, community and biodiversity, critical issues throughout the world

TIST paves opportunity and training to the farmers community to use their land effectively for multiple sustainable incomes by growing trees for carbon model. Farmers are excited to participate in TIST Program as they get the opportunity to meet with other farmers of same interest, they get chance to share and learn best practices on tree cultivation and farming work.

July 2020  Battling an enemy you cannot see is hard COVID-19 is not known to cause disease in cattle, but following the best practices to keep the cattle healthy is important: 1. Restrict the movement of visitors to the livestock farms & practice biosecurity measures. 2. Strength of farm workers/ animal shed attendants should be minimized with maximum output per worker without jeopardizing their health 3. Workers coming to livestock farms should wear mask, use sanitizer and should follow the best practices 4.
